Abstract

In this report, the anterior implant restoration was based on an abutment fabricated through CAD/CAM. Though conventional titanium abutments have proven to be excellent, the clinical result may be unesthetic mainly due to cervical discoloration. Therefore zirconia abutment was selected. Among the two types of zirconia abutment, onepiece zirconia abutment and zirconia-titanium abutment, zirconia-titanium abutment was selected on the final restoration, due to the possibility of wear between implant fixture and zirconia abutment, and the fracture strength of one-piece zirconia abutment. During short term follow up the patient presents esthetic result and is functionally satisfied
